Chocolate Steamed Buns
Thaw dough overnight in the fridge, or for two hours on the counter.
Remove dough from package and knead until tough (2-5 minutes). Lightly oil your hands and rub the dough ball and the inside of a small glass bowl to keep dough from sticking to it. Place dough into bowl, then place small bowl into a slightly larger bowl that contains 1 cup hot water. Cover both bowls with plastic wrap and let dough rise for 2 hours.
Remove dough from bowls and stretch into a rectangle on the counter. Roll the long end of the rectangle from top to bottom to form a spiral. Pinch the dough together. Cut 1-1.5" pieces of the spiral and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
Boil a pot of water. When dough is ready, place them on pieces of parchment paper and place them into a steamer basket. Do not have them touching. Steam the dough for 20 minutes.
Remove the steamer basket from the boiling water but do not open the lid. Let the breads rest for 5 minutes first.
Eat your steamed buns plain, with peanut butter, with fruit spreads or even with cheeses. Store in an airtight container on the counter.
