Grilled Whole-Grain Pizza
1 Feel Good Dough Oil-Free, Whole-grain Doughball
1/4 cup Hummus
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup mixed spring lettuce
1 yellow pepper, sliced
10 cherry tomatoes, sliced into halves
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 8min, plus cooling time
Yield: 8 slices
Thaw dough overnight in the fridge, or for two hours on the counter. For best results, get the doughball to room temperature before use. For tips and tricks, visit the FAQ section.
Preheat gas grill. Heat to 450F. Once 450 is reaches, turn one burner off. Keep lid closed.
While waiting, prepare dough for grilling. Hand shape the dough into a 12in. circle or oblong. Brush with olive oil.
Place dough on hot side of the grill. Grill until dough starts to bubble. Turn over, and cook for another 2 more minutes. Remove from grill.
Top the crust with hummus, then mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and peppers. Cut, serve, and enjoy.
