Cut into 10 pieces.
Finely chop onions. Cook onions in frying pan with butter on medium heat, until lightly browned.
On a cutting board, flatten a piece of dough. In the middle, place onion and a cube of cheese. Place a scoop of ground beef over the cheese. Seal the dough. Repeat for all pieces.
Fill a skillet with 3 in. of oil. Over medium heat, heat oil until hot.
Fry the burger bites in oil, turning once. Brown both sides, approximately 4 minutes on each side.
Remove from skillet with tongs, and place on paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Serve with your favorite burger sauce.
