Ingredients

1 package of Classic Original dough mix

1 1/4 cup water

2 eggs

1 pasta machine to make spaghetti or linguini

1 pot of salted water, boiling

Method

  • In a mixing bowl, combine mix and yeast.  Make a well in the center, and crack the eggs in.  Add 1/4 cup of water at a time, mixing after each addition.  Place dough on the table, and knead until smooth.  Let rest for 10 minutes.

 

  • Roll out onto a floured surface into a 12x15in. rectangle.

  • Slice dough into strips, 4x6in.

  • Prepare pasta machine for spaghetti or linguini.  Adjust pasta machine according to pasta maker instructions.

  • Run the rolled out dough through the pasta machine.  If you do not have a pasta machine, roll the dough thin with a rolling pin, and slice thin strips with a knife.

  • Boil salted water.  Drop dough strips into the water, stirring occasionally so the pasta does not stick together.  Boil for 3-4 minutes, and drain.  Serve with your favorite sauce.
