Whole Wheat Bread


1 Feel Good Dough Oil-Free, Whole Grain dough mix

Water as directed on packaging

Prep time: 10min, plus time to rise. 90min.

Cook time: 30min. + extra time to cool

Yield: 1 loaf

Find Oil-Free Whole Grain Dry Mix online.


  • Place mix into a 4 quart bowl.  Open yeast packet and pour on the flour.  Add water 1/2 cup at a time, stirring after each addition.  You can add up to 1/2 cup more water if needed.  Do not make the dough too wet, just add water until all of the flour is incorporated.  Cover the dough with plastic wrap or a clean towel to keep dough moist -- let rest for 10 minutes before using.

  • Place dough onto a hard surface.  Knead for 5 minutes.

  • Grease the loaf pan.


  • Roll dough into an 8x8 inch rectangle.  Roll dough from top to bottom, tucking in ends as you roll.  Pinch the seams closed.

  • Place in the greased loaf pan seam side down.  Cover with a clean towel, and place in a warm area for 1 hour.


  • Bake at 375F. for 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature is 190 degrees.  (A food thermometer is a great tool to have for bread, but not necessary)

  • Let stand for 10 minutes after taking it out of the oven.  Take out of the loaf pan, and let it cool.
